The uterus - the location and size

Where the uterus is actually driving?
At the beginning of pregnancy, the uterus is still deep: It is locatedbetween the bladder and rectum in the pelvis of the woman.

How big is the uterus?
At the beginning of pregnancy, the uterus about 10 cm tall andweighs about 50 grams your muscle mass grows to 1,000 to 1,500 grams. The muscle cells reach a length increase by ten-to 40-foldand put in the width-to-three times! Shortly before birth, the uterus isthen stretched to nearly the size of two footballs. An increase, as itcan reach no other human muscle and every bodybuilder jealous of!
